This is my dad. He’s ill with Lou Gherig’s disease or ALS. All the muscle in his body is slowly dying. At the moment he can’t move or speak. He probably won’t make it until Christmas. His mind is still sane ,so he’s trapped inside his own body.

Because ALS isn’t really a famous disease, not much research is done for it. That’s why it’s his goal to make his disease as well-known as possible. He’s been in several tv and magazine campaigns, and I thought to help my daddy a little :)

So please reblog and let everyone know this horrible disease exists! He would be really happy about it :)

My cousin Margie died of ALS…she was 18.  Its a terrible disease for everyone, young and old.

 ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) is commonly referred to as Lou Gehrig’s disease. My father was one of it victims.
